Snape Major Works Library
The Major Works Building Library has been implemented to the SMM7 Rules of Measurement and includes several thousand fully specified and priced items.
The library was designed for computer use and has a very thorough data structure. Particular care has been made to ensure that all sections within the Method of Measurement are defined. Although some less used sections are not populated with pricing detail by ensured the sections already exist it much easier for individual contractors to expand the library to suit their specialist needs.
Snape Library for Minor Works / Alterations and Repairs + Small Scale Repairs and Maintenance
Ideally suited to domestic alterations and extensions. In addition to including the alterations items it duplicates much of the new build items that are in the major works library, however the constants and Labour makeup are defined for smaller scale work.
Small scale repairs covers the items that typically arise from ingress of water, break-ins, and fire plus small scale maintenance that is often provided by Local Authority D.L.O., and Housing Associates for their housing stock. Often these works will be the subject of an Insurance Claim.
