Vectors printing system is simple the best. It strikes an effective balance to enable you to produce professional looking documents quickly, and delivering the power and flexibility to have you own own unique house style, and provide the solutions for the specialist needs of particular clients.

Reports can be previewed on the screen, page through to review collections and summary.

Bills of Quantities (Click on links to view report)

Vector is supplied with bill of quantities layouts for every occasion. Every aspect of all printouts can be changed to provide a house style, or new specialist reports added.

Standard Bill report layouts include:-

• Standard Bill. (Example1 Example2) Simple standard Bill layout which will produce both elemental and SMM7 bills, costed and uncosted. With the option of single page sections going direct to summary to save unnecessary collection pages. This report is provided with two quite different look and feels to suit different taste.
• Standard Bill - Take off order Bill. This Bill has the same visual look as the above but is used for bills that have been created manually which may have an ad hoc order.
• Mini Bill. Popular for small SMM7 bills. Omits collections and creates a more detailed summary at the end.
• Package or Trade Bill. (Example) This Bill is sorted into traditional trade packages (Builder work, Joinery, Painting etc), and within each package is further sorted by Element (if used) and SMM7. The surveyor can define his own definition of packages.
• CESMM3 Bill. Layout for Civil Engineering works.
• MHW4 Bill. (Example)Layout for Method for Highways Works 4
• Road & Bridge Bill. Layout for Older Roads & Bridge Method
• Northern Ireland Housing Bill. Layout for surveyors who are working for the NIHE.
• CITE Report. Produces Computer Industry Trading Electronically files, as one of Vector options to create Bill on Disk.

Estimates & Cost Plans

Vector is delivered with comprehensive estimate and cost planning reports. These can be used in their standard form for a very wide range of work, and customised for more specialist requirements.

• BCIS Cost Plan. (Example) Industry-standard BCIS cost plan.
• Cost Plan (using Associated Element Table): (Example) This report produces the cost plan based on an elemental table. The Standard Elemental Table can be cloned and modified so that you can create different forms of cost plan for your own in-house requirements.
• Simple Elemental Cost Summary. This report is a self-adjusting report that creates its content from a broad-brush estimate. A very useful tool for creating ad hoc non-standard estimates with a minimum setup time.
• Simple Project Cost Report. (Example) This flexible report is used for broad brush estimates and cost reports.

Measurement

• Dimension Report: (Example) Traditional dim printout.
• Side Cast Calculation Report: is similar to the dimension report but the content only includes the side cast calculations.

Post Contract

• Percentage Complete: Simple layout for Valuations.
• Double Bill Report: Layout for Final Account

Customising Printouts to suit your Special Requirements

• So every Quantity Surveyor is not reinventing the wheel Vector is supplied with a ready-made working solutions all common quantity surveying requirements that run straight out of the box.
• However, every aspect of the reports may be customised to suit individual practices requirements. and additional reports may be added that meet the particular requirements of your client.
• Many surveyors have customised their own reports using the comprehensive report documentation provided, however we are happy to make these adjustments for you.
